Fallen Officer Fund

Assistance requested for Security Officers attacked in the line of duty

ASIS North Alabama has made a donation to the GoFundMe page for the security guards mentioned below. Please consider also making a donation.

From the GoFundMe page:

On November 24, 2021, an armed assailant attacked two security officers in a senseless act. One officer was severely wounded and the other, Mr. Samuel Bell, lost his life. As a result of this heinous criminal act, the families not only have tremendous pain and suffering but also have substantial expenses from funeral services, medical bills, etc.

We have started this fund to assist the families of both officers. Your support will be greatly appreciated and provide much needed financial aid during these trying times. Please help us show our injured Officer, his family, and the family of Mr. Bell, that casualties in the line of duty within the private security industry are not forgotten. Help us to honor their service and sacrifice by supporting those they loved.

All raised funds will go directly to the injured officer and to Mrs. Bell (divided equally). Thank you!

Help those who have helped our community.

Law enforcement officers serve and protect our communities, and they face tremendous work-related challenges daily, often risking their lives to ensure our safety. To show your support for the families of those brave men and women who serve in our law enforcement, make your donation here.

All donations received will be used to support North Alabama’s Law Enforcement agencies by providing immediate financial assistance to the families of fallen officers

.
